It's too pretty to drill holes in for mounting...LOL
I'm jealous of all you loaders that have benches inside. I'm stuck in the garage..in Az.. I reload mostly at night and the early morning hours..
Wow! That thing is nicer than my dining room table!nuccx2001 said:I don't even want to put holes in it! More pics to follow.... 1st pic I took with the sun coming in the garage.. so it doesn't do it justice..
Well... My "Flooring favor" is used up.... My full plan is to build a reloading room around the bench in my basement...nuccx2001, I really like using the flooring to top the bench. I have a suggestion. build some sides and back using plywood and the same flooring, then put some doors on the front. It will look like a fine piece of furniture and you will keep the dust out. You could also put in some shelves and locks on the doors to have a secure place to store your ammo and components.
Beautiful work top. I noticed you drilled the mounting holes in the beveled trim. But isn't the beveled edge going to cause the LNL to rock forward and aft?
I'm also stuck reloading in the garage in AZ. Mostly at night and it's still hot. I got an idea from another user to build a bench on wheels. So when I have time I'm going to build myself a custom bench on wheels that fits through doorways so I can bring it inside an then back in the garage.I'm jealous of all you loaders that have benches inside. No but they are a sponsor of mine...Ronno, are you a Berger distributer? - LOL!
