I have the XS standard dot tritiums on my G26. They are fast, but I am not accurate with them. The dot is great and easy to see, but I have a hard time indexing it off the bottom of the rear vee. They are easy to regulate horizontally, but getting the verticle regulation the same every time sucks.

The next set I am getting are the tritium adjustable MMC bar dots. We shall see.........Ian

I have always been leary of the Big dot sights because of the loss of precision. Most of the time it is not a factor but it is occaisionally. I know I am fast with conventional night sights. So I see little need for the Big dot system. I would like to try them on a 38 snub or other pocket guns however.

I have Trijicons on the two Sigs and Ashley (XS) Big Dot (tritium) on my Ultra Carry that I carry regularly. I'd have them (XS's) on all my carry guns if expense weren't an issue (besides, the Triji's work fine).

All in all, the Express sights are superior for fast acquisition in 'social' situations. Granted, they aren't precise, but inside 10 yds, COM close enough is good enough, I don't care if I blow out the right ventriclw or the left, as long as it goes into the pump room.

My question is could you make a head shot in the brain box at 7 yards if the com shots did not work. Precision is not just needed at long range but at short range as well.

Hey- nobody mentioned ghost rings! I replaced the rear blade on my Ruger Security Six with an aperature from oneraggedhole.com. Target acquisition is very fast. You don't have to line up the rear and front sights. It's also darn accurate, if you ask me (well, you did!). I think it'll be a great addition for my combat pistol league.
