Not trying to sound elitist, and I certainly don't know all there is to know about every firearm out there but the M-203 is pretty well known in this realm...I would think.

Maybe just us old farts know more about these weapons than kids these days.
;)

As I remember the guy who never heard of an M-203 is the young math teacher "new technology" guy in the shop. He doesn't seem to be much of a gun guy but is a machinist and tech-head.

I'm 20 and I've known about m-203 for years. Kids play video games, and old people should know better!

Oh and it bugs me how the owner acted like he invented the masterkey.. all he did was use a saiga instead of an 870 (I would rather an 870 personally)

And I agree the clients seem fake.

I will watch no matter what, because even if it's lame, it's still a tv show about guns.

However, I do think it has been getting better as it's going.

Maybe next season, they will get an order from Japan for a Mobile Suit Gundam (made out of Ford 250). I'm sorry, the rocket launcher did it for me. It's just silly.

I have watched the show and at times had a hard time staying on the channel. When they made the "BAZOOKA" for $1000.00 and the rockets for $50.00 each. I think I'm in the worked in the wrong job. I made a rocket launcher for my 10yr grandson using a 3" cardboard tube, used the trigger handle from a hot glue gun with 9volt battery, and a simple shoulder rest total cost about .50 cents. Made one rocket from Balsa and turned it on lathe for a good fit, fins were from stiff cardboard and used an Estes model rocket motor, cost about $3.50 - $4.00 depending on which rocket motor used. Last three rockets were made from florist foam which is easy to shape and add tube for motor and fins. So maybe I should start my own rocket building service. Other than a few things I do enjoy the show.

Once you get paid to be an armorer, you get to charge $85 an hour like they do and make the big bucks. Their gun smithing and overhaul services are reasonably priced that I've seen on their website and I'm sure they are getting more business due to the tv show.

I've watched a few episodes and find it mostly entertaining. Much of it has been done before and really isn't anything special, but it's still a decent show, and it's about gun enthusiasm. His daughter bugs me a little, but it's his daughter, she works, and she's kinda cute IMO.

I really don't like all the Saiga's though. I understand they have a good reputation behind them, but I'm sure a little more variety when it comes to those projects wouldn't hurt, but I assume they use them because they're accurate and reliable.

Seeing some of the stuff they do, I've had an idea for a special set of pistols that nobody else will do for less than 10's of thousands in re-engineering costs, so when I rack up the dough, maybe I'll see if they can handle it.

You guys just don't get it. OK....Listen up...only goin say this one time, you bunch of cry babies!!!!!!

What happens in the next series is that the daughter and her dad have a big falling out....she goes out and starts her own gun building shop....he is her competation.....they cuss each other vociferously and throw stuff all over the shop....she begins to work out and get some guns of her own....in the mean time.....she meets the kid on "American Chopper".....he likes her guns and she likes his chopper, so they get hitched and have some little chopper mounted sagas...they move to Stergis and clean that place up and start a family "Fun with Guns and Chillin with Choppers" reality show.

Geeees...you guys just don't get it. Any more questions????????:neener:

Actually It's just clever product placement. They always done a few saiga converts but since the show all their stuff is saiga , basically they get money or free rifle for some free advertising. Also you will notice alot of dph.com plugs in the show too if you look and listen carefully (atleast dph.com has good prices tho)

Red Jacket specializes in AK's and Saiga's.

What do you expect?

Is she married? Anyone notice a wedding ring on her finger?

PS gathert, Clemson is gonna get slaughtered today vs. my Carolina Tar Heels!

I didn't realize this show was on until about 3 weeks ago. I set the DVR to record all episodes of it including reruns, which may have been a mistake. Sometimes watching too many episodes of something in a row is not good.

I think there's about as much reality in this show as there is in "Two and a Half Men", but if they didn't have the scripted "projects" you'd have a show about a machine shop. The same thing happened with "Ice Road Truckers". After I learned about how they make the road, check the road, etc, it was a show about guys loading up trucks and driving trucks. ZZZZZzzzzzzz.

It's not a horrible show, just hard to swallow the premises they come up with. The big thing that bugs me about the show, every "invention" that Will comes up with could "open up a whole new market for us" according to his daughter. I have a few more on the DVR that I'll watch and then make a decision if I will keep recording it.

If I read one more comment about the 'hot' 'cute' daughter I think I'm gonna throw up. She's a homely buck-toothed big-eared irritating child with too much make-up on and a bad dye job - your opinion/taste in women may vary.

The show isn't much better either. Fake bazookas, fake rocket launchers to scare pirates? Please! The shows about the Ma Duece and the flame thrower were much better, the rest of it belongs in a cat litter box.

The actual "gunsmithing" I've seen inbetween the nonsense makes me glad I watched the show before I purchased anything from them.

I liked the 'ballistics test" of the Mare's Leg and other esoteric arms (455 Webly etc).

It's still better than most tv on Wednesdays.

Tom Gresham:

Other than shows on the Military Channel, Lee Ermey on History and Topshots, Sons Of Guns, do normal (default) Direct TV Channels have many others?

I've never noticed any when switching around with the remote.

By the way, somebody's link to that show about the Ruger Scout Rifles is appealing.
Am curious whether that rifle with its basic Iron Sights is a much better rifle at 100 yards for plinking or hunting than the Spanish FR8 (.308) Mauser or Enfield #5 "J. Carbine".
