I bought CCI SRP Magnum local today for 85.00 per 1000. Grabbed 2lb H335 and a lb of CFE black for 35.00 each.
SRPM would be worth $85 + tax! becuse it would take a few years to use that up.

I’m going to concentrate on powder @$35 is not bad, bulk .38 target, .45 target. bullets, WC bullets, bulk .224 bullets

^still cheap enough

My BP/ Cabelas primer price has actually come down a little in the last few months

Did you ever consider that maybe Sportsman’s had entered into a long term contract with primer suppliers at a set price, and then given the unexpected run on ammunition, allowed the producers to delay the promised quantities and extend the term? And, as part of the renegotiation, agreed to keep the original pre pandemic price agreed upon. That could explain why SW was able to maintain their much lower retail prices so long (as well as their spotty supply).
Instead of whining about Sportsman’s Warehouse raising prices, maybe you should be grateful that they provided an opportunity for you to stock up at decent prices.
I was thinking something like that too. It made no sense to me why only SW was selling primers at such low prices during the pandemic. Either a contract or they just happened to get a warehouse full of primers before things went nuts.

they were getting in every brand of primers that were available. If they had a contract, it was with ever primer company… or the distributor was making a lost on every shipments to SW

Or Or…. everyone decided $99 was the new price but SW had different ideas.. but eventually caved if??? just my backwood seattle analysis, no cap

They already tried that and told them to pound sand. Hopefully they can hold out.
I remember that!

but with 50% discount on there shares.. BP investors can forces them to merge with Bass/Cabelless if they bought a ton load of the stocks
