I saw the Mass Drive Comp and thought it would be cool to put one on my Polymer 80 build.
Primary Arms had them on sale a few weeks ago and I ordered one, but didn’t get it on my gun till this weekend.
I miss placed the guide rod nut and had to contact Strike to see about buying the part.
I sent them an email stating that I lost the part in my shop and wished to buy the part.
I got a reply stating that they would have someone help me. The next email stated that the new part was being shipped to me at no charge. :)
The package arrived Friday and I installed the Mass Driver on my gun, which took about 10 minutes.

I put 35 rounds through it this morning and I really like it. Less recoil and faster follow up shots.
Here are a few still shots from some video I took this morning.

Somehow the film industry has neglected to award an Oscar to Gunny on his fine pictures and action adventures. How does that thing work? Is it like a heavier buffer?

Man, I'm 59 and the backs of my hands show it. Underneath the hair I've got the age spots. Of course I've spent the majority of my adult life outdoors.

I'm impressed. I'm generally skeptical of the ability of non-barrel-attached comp to really direct enough gas to be effective, but those photos certainly suggest it's harnessing a good chunk of the available rocket exhaust!
