more than a few of these look unshot. i put 150 through my 590a1 in ONE DAY after getting it and it STILL looked more used than most guns in this thread...

Mine is VERY well used but the pics are about a year old or so. On another forum I posted a couple weeks ago or so that I have put just over 6000 rounds through my 590A1 so far. I'll have to update the pics even though aside from the mag tubes finish being worn, the gun looks pretty much like it did in my last pic.

I know mine has close too 400 rounds threw it and i have another 300 ready to go.
It would be dumb to buy a Limbsaver recoil pad for a gun thats never been shot, I bought it because i DID shoot the gun and had a nice bruised shoulder after 100 rounds of 3" shells.
Im sure some 2 3/4" were in there somewhere also as they are cheaper for slugs.

You can't clean off or lube over wear marks. Less oil, less moody lighting, more shooting.

My mossy 500 kept with 7 rounds of 00 buck in the tube, chamber empty. I'm not sure if you can see the wear marks but she gets a work out just about every weekend.
