So I was bitten by the pocket pistol bug. I picked up a S&W sigma 380 for cheap and found a screaming deal on a "used" Kahr P380 with crimson trace laser. I put ~100 rounds through the S&W 380 without any problems. The Kahr on the other hand must not have made it through the 200-300 rd break-in period with the previous owner. I put two mags through it without any hiccups then the trouble started. About every mag the pistol would fail-to-feed at least one round. The round would get half way into the chamber and jam. I put 100+ rounds (95gr FMJ RN) through it and I'm hoping to put another 100-150 rounds through tomorrow. I'm hoping this will break in the gun and resolve these issues. The pistol is easy to shoot and very accurate for a 2" barrel. Sights and laser are nice on the Kahr and at 7yrds-10rds are right on POA=POI. I'm just a little concerned about the FTF issues. Anyone have experience with the Kahr P380 doing this? The S&W may be a cheap gun, but it seems solid from the reliability perspective.

The Sigma 380 is a total POS with a barrel only designed for under 1000 rounds according to S&W.
Where is that stated in the manual or warranty?
Good edit.......

Oh, really? I'm not going to say anything, unless S&W was producing sandpaper-covered bullets for it, or the barrel was made out of lead or Bakelite.

After 3 rounds you will not be able to hit a 4x8 sheet of plywood at 15 feet for the barrel heat distortion.

Let's see... if the shots are more than 4 feet off at 15 feet... then your barrel was pointing, what, 15-20 degrees off of centerline... Was it put together right?

Cleaned up the Kahr P380 really good and lubed it per instructions. It ran like a top after the first 25rds today (put 150 through it). I guess it needed a little more than 200rd to get broken in real good. It seems ready for pocket carry!
