Very interesting thread going on here. It got me to going through all my gun photos here on the computer, and found this one. There may be more, bit I haven't gone through all of them yet. . The .44 Mag. Ruger Redhawk, back when it wore a 2x Leupold, shown with an older Gerber folder. Should dig out the Canon Rebel and capture a few more interesting gun & knife pics.

The Luger one of my late uncles liberated from Germany's V-2 Rocket factory in 1945. Gets carried afield in a soft case in deer season in honor of him case a close range coup-de-gras is needed on a wounded deer. .. He thought that would be a great use for that; only had one opportunity so far but it's with me if needed. Shown here with my assortment of field dressing cutlery. .

@Southerner up North , I don't recall ever seeing a Buck knife like the one in your 1st photo. I like Buck knives and am fortunate to live near the Buck Knife factory which is located in Post Falls, ID. I can go there and buy blems for 50% off, or show them my LEO creds and get up to 50% off.

You will not find this in any catalogs. It started life as a 317 that I had the skinning blade and spring deleted. I still have a very nice factory 317 but a fondness of large, single blade knives.
I would be financially broke if I lived close to their store.
