The Guns of Pulp Fiction

Damn, the only good thing about living in LA that concerns guns is....

Its called a Gun Wrangler not the Prop guy

Firearms get their own guy called the Gun Wrangler.

I just chanced into a BM in some horse trading and the first thing I thought of was "Mister Nine Millimeter" from Pulp Fiction. Amazingly enough, here's a thread confirming the ID! It's appropriate pistol for Spenard

Except that his was a B, not a BM. :)

Star B to BM is like full-sized 1911 to Officer's.

Sure, and mine's not as purty. But it has that same double take aspect of looking like a 1911 at first glance, then noticing the bore is too small. I'm taking it shooting tomorrow with a mixed lot of ammo so we'll see how well it does.

Look at the two characters involved. They're rough around the edges, yet they're somewhat refined in a layman-esque way. Professional, but not quite too professional.

Professional in the "I'm the only one in this car professional enough to point this gun at your head" kind of way i guess.

The real Zeke 25-17,KJV: And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

Of course I don't know for sure, but I speculate that Tarantino had more to do with the firearm selection than we might guess.
Yes I think Trip20 is right. The guns fit the characters. Something you would get in trade for some dope. Or win somehow on some seedy sort of way.

Flashy too. Remember the wallet? "Mine's the one the says Bad M Fer on it." And sure enough it did say just that.

You'll notice that handgun is in some of the posters of Uma but on in others. I suspect it's something they drew in.
you'll also notice that the beretta is a trifle too small, and if you look closely, appears to be painted rather than a photo.

you'll further notice that the overall photo is reversed, and the Beretta has been photoshopped so as to look less like a Beretta. note the trigger bar is on the wrong side.
