1977 stainless model. This looked like it had been dragged down a gravel road for ten miles, covered in fine scratches and was priced appropriately. It cleaned up and polished out very nice, very smooth action.

That's why I'm getting to stainless, a little softer than blued on the surface of the metal, but 4-0 steel wool will polish any scratch that Flitz won't!

There are 2 heavy duty commercial loading presses that can be adjusted to accommodate different cylinders.
They should work with the ROA by using the Remington pin, but double check and ask them before buying.
The vendors should know since they've been selling these presses for a long time.

I use the 1st generation of the Tower of Power, it's adjustable and works for all my B/p pistols. I got mine used on Ebay, but Powder Inc. used to sell them.

I guess I'm about 10 years late to the party but after a long search, I finally have the entry requirements!
This is my 1974 model ROA. I found it in an antique shop with a label that said nothing but "Old Replica Gun". The barrel was so full of fouling it didn't have any rifling and the action was locked up. I soaked it for a couple of days in penetrating oil and spent another week scrubbing the crud out of the barrel and chambers. I still have a ways to go to pretty her up but she sure does shoot well

In this video, Ruger Old Army Girl chronographs a load of 40 grains of 777 3F powder under a 230 grain Lee .452 flat nose bullet.
Average velocity was 1148 fps. and 673 ft. lbs. of ME.

I would hold off buying until they have resolved this problem. Otherwise it looks like good stuff, at least for round balls.

RMC Ox-Yoke Quick 6 Loading Stand for the Old Army. Just got one today and there is insufficient clearance for the Old Army cylinder. The axis of the screw and pivot pin needs to be moved outboard. I would hold off buying until they have resolved this problem. Otherwise it looks like good stuff, at least for round balls.

They probably sent the wrong model since they manufacture several.
I would email them that photo and see if they will provide you with a replacement at their expense.
