The Terrible Trigger Concept

I am in no way a competitive shooter. I practice, and I can hit what I am aiming at most of the time...some times better than others...some guns better than others.

It is the competitive shooter that is most likely to be concerned with trigger pull quality. The league I used to participate in required shooting one handed and a heavy , gritty, creepy pull is severely detrimental to shooting good scores.

My Ruger MarkII with the stock trigger was difficult to shoot accurately one handed. With the Clark trigger job I was able to win the a few leagues with it.

In my days of metallic silhouette where shooting took place up to 100 meters a light crisp trigger was preferred.

Somedays, like today, I shoot better with the Glock trigger than I do with my more accurate, awsome trigger guns like my revolver and my 1911.

I've been struggling with flinching ever since a bad car accident a couple of years ago. When I'm flinching, my Glock shoots better, when I'm right, my 1911 with it's terrific trigger is far more accurate in my hands.

I had to pass on IHMSA this year because I can't hit the ocean from the pier with my trusty T/C G2, the trigger's just too good for me!
