I have a P22 and am actively looking to sell it trade it. I want to like it, but it's too fussy about ammo, shoots itself loose every couple hundred rounds, and is a major pain to put back together thanks to that weird mainspring. Would like a SR-22 or even a good revolver at this point.

I used to own a P22 and had no problems with it but I let a grandson talk me out of it and he hasn't had any problems either. His shooting style is considerably more rapid than mine so it's had a good work out in his hands. I found I missed it and replaced with it a SR22. It's been trouble free too. The controls on each are different but that's the only difference I have found in my limited experience of one each.

I have a Ruger MK III 22/45 and was looking for another fun plinker. I love the MK and it’s a tack driver.

Considered the Ruger SR 22, Walther PPK/s and the Bersa Thunder 22. Ended up with the Bersa. Nice little pistol, lots of cool factor and an easy $60 cheaper than any of the others. It’s been nearly flawless with MiniMags but will choke on standar velocity rounds. No matter, it is perfect for punching paper and tin cans.

I like it enough that I got a Bersa 380. Both are well made, accurate and just fun to shoot.
