If you fire a 150 gr. 308 round at a 45 degree angle how far will it go before it hits the ground. Feel free to insert relevant details assumptions. Zero wind.

.
I don't reload, yet. I don't use a bench rest. I shoot a Ruger Scout from 100 to 300 yds; 100 and 200 with the factory ghost ring, and to 300 w/ a 2.5 X 28 scout scope... I have no real ballistics data but I'm guessing a mile to a mile-and-a-half.

?

For what it's worth, if you're looking for maximum range, it's not at a 45 degree angle. A 45 degree angle would provide maximum range in a vacuum. When you factor in air resistance the angle for maximum range decreases.

Hatcher quotes the results of a study on the Swiss military round from the early 1900s. Ballistics are pretty similar to the .308. The 174 grain, .30 cal bullet with a muzzle velocity of 2600 attained a maximum range of 4457 yards (2.53 miles) at an elevation angle of just under 35 degrees. Velocity at impact was 417fps.

Need a lot more info, muzzle velocity, and ballistic coefficient of the bullet are critical. Factory loads start at 2700 fps and some better handloads exceed 3000 fps. A quality target bullet will have a much more aerodynamic shape than typical hunting bullets.

This. Max range will be achieved at 30*-35*

Yes.
I figure commercial .308 Winchester loaded with a 150 grain flatbase spitzer will shoot pretty close to 1906. Military 7.62 with 147 grain boattail a bit farther but not enough to matter on the keyboard.
173 gr M1/NM not in play in the OP.
