jwrowland,

Ole' Morgan finally did get around to doing that PAWL ADJUSTMENT video.

It really helped people who thought they were there BUT WERE NOT QUITE.

They just NEEDED THE TINIEST OF TWEAKS YET TO BE 100% good to go.

I actually watch his videos every once in a bit, JUST TO RELAX, he's easy watchin' and listen.

Yeah. The videos I watched are pretty good.

The plate is in his words, a horses hair away from being right on. Once the plate goes all the way down, I barely move it clockwise and it'll sit in where it's supposed too. And it's just a hair off going up. I did noticed though, that even when setting my dies, as long as a pushed forward just a hair like I would be priming, everything went smooth for the most part.

I didn't have any plastic tubing for spent primers. What is the OD is the brass tubing coming down? That way I can just buy a piece and run it to a bucket

I assume you have a caliper, so you can measure it yourself. I replaced the tubing that came with the LnL with one large enough to allow the brass primer drop tube to slide within it. I then taped the tube so it wouldn't move. The tube goes to the floor and into a plastic juice bottle that has a screw top. I drilled a hole in the top so the tube would go through it with enough tightness that it wouldn't pull out. You don't need a very large container to hold thousands of primers.

Well yes I can. However, when I posted that, I was not at home or near another Hornady AP to measure it and I was wanting to grab some tubing on the way home from work.

I so however appreciate 03fatboy for helping me out with that.

Thanks tly999 for posting that video. Looks like my plates not too far off. Great video by the way. I was thinking it would be the right one that I needed to adjust just a hair but after watching the video, it confirmed it.

Thanks again 03FatBoy for the measurements. Fits like a glove. I was able to hit up Home Depot on the way home and grab it real fast. My 9 and 6 year olds are ready to try out the new press. Lol.

Got my first 100 loaded up tonight. It was kind of nice going from fired cleaned case, to loaded round. It took me a couple hours but that sure beats 7-8 hours of doing it in batches. The powder measure I was really impressed with. I set it, checked the first 10, then spot checked it every 20 or so, and it stayed spot on. I got them loaded up to the same specs I had when I loaded them on the single stage.
