The Ruger would be my choice from amongst the ones being discussed.
But, I feel I must sound a discordant note and say that if you are looking for an inexpensive .22 pistol, it doesn't get much more affordable than the Phoenix Arms HP22. Based on a friend's experience, it takes a couple hundred round to get broken-in and then it will last for about 2,000 rounds before the zamak frame cracks. The pistol comes with a lifetime warranty so it will get fixed for a nominal charge. If you don't want to wait for warranty service; you might find that after you've fired it a couple thousand times, you may just decide to spend another $150 and get a new one.
