Has anyone had experience using Underwood Xtreme Defender, or Lehigh Xtreme Defense ammunition in a Beretta Pico?

I've seen some videos of this ammo, which showed good results, and I'm
a big fan of Underwood ammo; using their 10mm, .380 auto, .45 auto and
.45 Super calibers. I've never used their "Extreme" though.

Newer technology non-lead ammo. Kind of designed for short barrel guns, The lighter weight gives increased velocity for improved penetration. Barrier blind inasmuch as clothing does not impede the forward progress. (ie: denim clogging hollow points). Fluted tip forces fluids outward to rival the wound cavity of hollow point.

I've been signed up to recieve a text alert from multiple places as soon as some of this chit shows back up on the radar. It's been well over a year since I've seen any. I've been trying to get 1-2 boxes because I've been impressed with what I've seen and feel like it will perform well in my LCP .380

For now it's buffalo bore LRN, but as soon as I find some of those penetrators....

I use Underwood Extreme Defender in my LCP II. I plan to use it in my Security 9 as soon as I use the 124 gr HST I have on hand. As for the PICO. I have no experience, but. I can say the Extreme Defense bullet made by Lehigh and dyed by Underwood can be a problem during feeding depending on both the feed ramp angle and level of polish. I had that problem with my LCP Ii. I polished the feed ramp and it was fixed. I have seen notices on Lehigh’s website about the ammo not working in some pistols. Kahrs were one of them. I would suggest that you call customer service of both companies to see if they have reports about the PICO. Then, if not, buy one box and test it before you make a larger purchase.
