That's a good idea George. We should see if it's playing in a theatre up there, we can go as a group. I've been waiting for this movie since the first one came out, and I can not miss it.

My frs radios aren't sophisticated (expensive) enough to have sub-channels. Anybody monitoring just plain channel 7? Correia and I will probably be arriving 4:30 to 6-ish.

BIL and I will depart Farmington at approx 5 am on Saturday Morning. Still waiting to know if The Fumegator is in.
 
Guys, I'll be in a red 77 ford 4X4 with a diamond plate tool box and a pickup box trailer(green and white). I'm also going to bring plenty of firewood as well.

Correia and I are going friday. We will leave some sort of trail for you to follow. I'll have my cell as well, so if you want the # shoot me a PM.

Larry, I got your PM, I will do my best to be there. I'm gonna catch a movie at 11:30, and then I'll head your way.


I've got some FRS radios too, no sub channels, but I'll be on channel 7 as well.
 
I have some little radios, but they also do not have subchannels. I'll be on 7. They aren't to fancy, I traded some shirts and hats to George for them. :)

Crude, you want us to wait for you if you get held up? I imagine that you are going to see Riddick. I'll go watch it next week. I've got some discount passes already, but they don't work in the first couple of weeks. I loved Pitch Black. Watched it when it first came out. I think I'm the one that got George to rent it, turned him into a Vin Diesel fan. :p

BIL and I have secured some bowling pins. :D :D :D :D

Also we picked up some clay pigeons and a hand thrower. If anyone has a launcher and a few more clays that would be cool.


Another thought we had. Does anyone have an IDPA type timer? That would be cool too.
 
12 Volt, it's a bit iffy for me. It's looking right now that if I'm off at all on Saturday, it probably won't be in time to get there before dark.

If I do get lucky though, I'll drive myself. Sorry to leave you hangin'.

Dammit, this pisses me off that I'm not going to be able to go. Just talked to Eric (PCRCCW) today and he's pretty sick. He says he's probably not going to make it either.

I just have a favor to ask -- will somebody with a digicam take lots of pictures?

Strawberry fish boat

I will be out on Strawberry/Soldier Creek on Sat (FREE FISHING DAY) and Sunday. I will keep the FRS on Ch 7 Code 28 if anyone wants to say hi. Also the main radio is always on Marine Ch 16 just call for "hjrocket" if you need water transport. I'll have a few pistols aboard and might get over to Renegade to pop some caps on Sunday. :)
 
Wonder if Atc1man watched the weather before he headed to the desert?:D I'm bettin' he's a little wet right now. ;) That, and when it's wet that clay out there is UGLY.

I'm going to try to... I woke up this morning sick as a dog, I kid you not. I can hardly speak and my head is pounding. I'm really not fit to work in a food establishment.

Now, it may not be moral or ethical, but if I can get out of this, I think I'm just going to have to pop up at strawberry. :evil: After all, I went and bought a $75 dollar dueling-tree so that we could have an extra game to play, and I intend to see it used. :D

Now my hesitation is that I'm afraid I'll get fellow THR brethren sick if I show up. :( That wouldn't be very good.

Wes, don't you dare deprive me of a legitimate reson to miss work.:D

Even if the weathers a little rough, I hope everyone still comes up. This is my ONLY weekend off this summer, I'm going up no matter what, and I'd sure like to meet a lot of you guys.

If anyone needs it I can bring an extra 2 man tent I have. If it comes down to it, just bring a sleeping bag, and you can put it up in my trailer(not enclosed, just an old pickup bed conversion).
