VGs Make Me Puke: Show Me Your Simple and/or well used ARs

A rifle is only as good as the <guy> behind the trigger.

I want pictures of simple ARs. No VGs, no flashlights, no tapco/magpull endorsments whatsoever. I want to see wear-marks. I want to see places where the finish has been worn to the bone.

I want dirty, nasty, simple, solid guns.

Give me some pictures, guys. I know there's got to be a few of you out there.

heh, horsesoldier my most scratched up, dirtiest, most abused AR15 has a magpul stock, quad rail, vfg and a light.

It may be hard to see the wear, but it is worn and simple. Pretty much everything that looks shiny is bare metal, like the delta ring, several places on the receiver, the front sight tower, flash hider. I'm not responsible for a lot of it, as I got it used. I'd also point out that most of the wear spots are not from hard shooting use but from hard riding in a trunk.

My most used AR, which was shot a lot more than this one, looks a lot nicer and also has a light and a VG.

Simple and/or Scuffed and banged up ARs. I like seeing them.

mine look new, but that is because they get kryloned every once in a while. my ar is well worn as well as all my "working" guns but it is hard to tell on the ar with the new paint job.

Not worn looking, but the SP1 in the center is about as simple as they come.

The H&K 91 and the FAL are also as issued without any extraneous accoutrement.

Pretty bold talk for an Aggie. Say, don't you guys still carry swords? It's the 21st century, comrade. Vertical foregrips, collapsible stocks, optics, and lights are de rigeur.

Not super scuffed up. But I drew this brand new out of the box from our arms room. Colt M-4, ACOG, PEQ-15, el-cheapo 3 point sling, and no VG. It's hard to tell by the pic, but rifle is showing wear now and it's serving me well in Iraq.
