Congrats, you may be going viral with this thing soon----since I just embedded it on a sailing site with 80,000+ members. World wide.

WFD.......

(edit-2-add-----ya know what would have been even cooler? If the bad guy reaches into the lock box, picks up the gun, turns around into the camera and says (ala that great Honey Badger narrator Randall) 'Thanx for the treat, stupid'.....)

that was so unrealistic it hurt.

Rule 1. call the police.

Please, make that the last of the worst slippery slope 'argument' film you make.
Yes, because realism was clearly the goal of this video.

CoiledSnake - Great video man. It speaks directly to the ignorance of gun laws and does so with a bit of humor while maintaining respect for the seriousness of the issue. Keep up the good work, I really feel for you folks out in California.

Ok, the Floridians have just discovered it. Hope to hell you can get as much publicity & make as much coinage on it as that gal who did that song lovely little song 'Friday'.....:D

If you had bothered to watch the video, you would have noticed that the police were notified. Personally, I am looking forward to other video clips he might make.

I thought it pretty good for a first effort. Not as easy as it sometimes looks. If any of my several attempts had turned out half as well, I would have a couple of dozen on YouTube by now.

When seconds count, the police are just minutes away!

Good, but sad. I'm sure some "legislator" in Sacramento is using the video as a "how to" for future bills.

Maybe we hear a shot, the woman screaming as the door closes, allowing the viewers to come up with their worst fears to fill in the blanks.

But the anti's will be focusing on eliminating the robber's gun. The thought that guns are here and always will be, simply evades them.

Good work, more effective than a poster.

Great video.

Must add though... Something everyone fails to realize is that in the mind of anti-gunners, that intruder wouldn't have a gun thanks to such strict gun control.

You don't have to preach to the choir about criminals and gun control. I'm just laying out the reality of their mindset.

El Mariachi, that was the lovely Rebbeca Black, who guest starred in Katy Perry's 'Friday" video, too, and yes, this should get far more coverage than that one did.

Thanks for the compliments!!!!! They mean a lot.

Ater I finished the video there were several things I wanted to change. My main character wasn't the best actor (LOL), that is the problem with using friends. Plus it was about 100 degrees (because of the lights) in the room and everyone was uncomfortable. Also, once you tell someone they are an "actor" they turn into a prima donna. lol

You know I never even thought of the criminal grabbing the gun at the end. I imagined him as being knock out cold. But every where I have posted this I am getting feedback that he should have grabbed the gun. That would have been cool. Maybe an alternative ending or a sequel in the future it this video gets enough attention.

I already have another video in the works. It is a little more of a comedy than this one, but future videos will have a nice mix of comedy, gun porn, action and social/political commentary.

I am trying to make the kind of videos that I would want to see. So I hope that strategy works.

I really appreciate you guys sharing the video with the rest of community!! I made this for you guys. Glad to hear you like it.

Big thanks to those of you subscribing to my YouTube channel. I promise to make it worthwhile.

Thanks
Justin

Thanks ConstitutionalCowboy!!

I appreciate you sharing it with your group.

Also, to answer the your other questions. I am in negotiations with my wife to leave Southern California for another state. After awhile you have to wonder how much the perfect weather is really worth. I love sunshine but at what cost.

I sent it to my mom's husband who lives in Vacaville, which is around Sacremento. He's sharing it with all of his military buddies. He also liked the $14 charge to open the safe. Its little details like the charge, the voice response unit not understanding English, and the operator saying the police will arrive in 10 minutes that make the video great.

You got the details right and its something that people can relate to.

Orwell's "1984" was supposed to be a warning as well. Instead our elected criminals seem to be using it as a how to guide. I hope your video has a better future.

^Double plus good! But the "proles" dont want to read it.

It would have been an added irony if the thief had grabbed the homeowner's gun in the closing scene, though.
The safe gets opened at the very end. Both people who live in the house are dead. I assumed the BG woke up and got a new gun.

What a profoundly disturbing and frightening vision of the future! :what: I mean, the operator actually opened the box without ascertaining beyond all doubt what was happening. And as if such irresponsibility--allowing ordinary citizens (i.e. potential criminals) to handle firearms--weren't bad enough, there actually was a real GUN inside. :uhoh: People don't need to have a real gun in the box in order to feel safe--they just need to believe it. I thought the idea was to delay their futile actions until the police arrived, anyway. We can't have subjects^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hcitizens killing other subj^H^H^H^Hcitizens with state-controlled equipment--that would be anarchy, and make criminals out of innocent victims. Finally, to top off this whole debacle, the gun was an M&P, which stands for Military & Police, NOT su^H^Hcitizen or civilian--this makes it an assault weapon, and such weapons are inherently more dangerous for some reason (how should I know why--I'm not a specially-trained government employee).

This video is a real wake-up call for our legislators to tighten their control of guns in order to protect the people from one another. If they don't do something soon, then blood will run freely on our streets!

The views expressed in this post do not necessarily represent those of the poster, his employer, or his affiliates, although I'm sure that they represent somebody's. Any resemblance to a straw man is purely coincidental. ;)

And for some reason a prevalent mindset seems to be that an intruder always enters the house with the intent to kill all of the occupants.

Very good red meat video, though.

Again, thanks for the comments.

Also,
Expect more "Red Meat" videos. My next video is going to be more of a comedy but after that I have a "Obama" related video, and a "Car Jacking Scenario" planned.

Oh, oh, oh, oh... I have a good one!!

What if Obama gets car jacked and he tries to "rhetoric" his way out of it, with no gun, of course. The car jacker could die from being smothered in "actual" BS. Also, Biden could be trying to figure out how to read a map and be completely oblivious to the entire event.:D
