Video Of Chris Mathews Scolding A Citizen Who Exercises His RKBA

I wonder if Chris Mathews ever manages to make it through the night with dry sheets. His man card needs to be revoked.

Here in Oklahoma, though we don't have open carry, any time our governor shows up anywhere where concealed carry is not prohibited, there is more than likely one in ten people carrying concealed. When he attended a banquet for the Oklahoma Rifle Association that I attended a couple years ago, he was literally surrounded by citizens carrying concealed weapons. There was no noticeable presence of police beyond those few who normally escort him wherever he goes. He was probably armed himself(I'm guessing, of course, but I would not be surprised.).

To those of us on this forum who take a "less aggressive" position on exercising our rights, that's fine. Your comfort level is your own affair. But don't presume yourselves to be the official arbiters of what is acceptable and scold those of us who are well acquainted with our rights and are not afraid to exercise and espouse them. If the intent was to maintain a status quo, or to lose more ground, your approach would work just fine. We know where we stand and where we want to go. Maybe that's why we're often referred to as activists.

I just never thought the balloon would go up over "healthcare reform," of all things...

One unconstitutional act is as unconstitutional as the next. This particular "health care reform" act appears important to many more people. It's more "in your face". If more people felt the impact of the infringements on our Right to Keep and Bear Arms, I believe the uproar would be just as loud if not louder.

Defeating this health care take-over will go a long way toward inspiring and educating people. People will be encouraged to stand up, and will discover that they can make a difference, can influence politicians; and that their right to assemble and right to petition government for a redress of their grievances works. People will be less hesitant to stand up for other rights like the RKBA; the right to be secure in their persons, houses, and effects; and their state's sovereignty.

I salute William Kostric.
