And looks to be spp's to boot! They work just fine.Got a jump on 1500 45acp loads for my 1911. This is 500 done today.
Glad to see T & B bullets getting some love here. They are very good cast/ coated bullets. Those are 405's from T&B Bullets.
That's pretty cool. You & @GeoDudeFlorida and others here are compelled to reload. It's not a choice.Never heard of 7.62x54R?
It's the Russian (pre-Soviet Union) military cartridge developed before 1900, around the same time as 7x57 Mauser, used for WWI and in WWII (Soviet Union) in their bolt gun, the Mosin Nagant, and is still used in Dragunovs and some machine guns. I'd hazard a guess it was responsible for more Axis soldiers than any other cartridge, just because of the size of the Red Army and the morass of the Eastern Front.
The R means "rimmed".
That was made clear to me when I asked about hunting the first time. Along with all of the duties and responsibilities of proper conservatorship. Hunting , whether on public or private land, isn’t like any other civic responsibility; I was taught to take it very seriously. We were made to be the caretakers of this world and to use from it responsibly. From dust we were made, etc. That's pretty cool. You & @GeoDudeFlorida and others here are compelled to reload. It's not a choice.
Well, not going to finish tumbling today! A buddy, the same one as last week, came over yesterday afternoon with a big tub of 32 ACP brass and we spent the afternoon depriming 32's and drinking beer. When he got ready to leave we spotted a puddle of water in the laundry room floor. Thats where I empty my drum and fill it at. Had a crimp-on fitting on the faucet spring a leak so I'm at a standstill until I can get to Lowes for a new faucet!Still in the same rut, tumbling and sorting brass. If I hang with it today like I plan I should finish tomorrow afternoon.
Yessir. I prefer them. Usually cheaper cause people don’t want them. And I generally use small rifle primers so I can just stock up on one. But I got 3k spp to run in theseAnd looks to be spp's to boot! They work just fine.
Someday in the distant future Josh Gates' grandkids are going to dig that up and scratch their heads and say "I think it was a...well I just don't know what it was."Primed another 100 *-* brass in 10mm.
Also wet tumbled and dried a load of 9mm brass.
It was above freezing today so dizzy brass was outside.
