What is the last gun that you bought?

Franchi Renaissance Field O/U in 12 ga for upland hunting. I thought long and hard about whether to get the Franchi or a 20 ga Beretta, but decided that the possiblity of California going lead free made the 12 ga more attactive. The aluminium receiver makes it a joy to carry and the recoil pad is amazingly good.

On the same 4473 I got a brand new in the box Winchester 1200 from 1966. A woman walked into the shop with her late husband's guns. The 1200 isn't Winchester's proudest moment, but I couldn't turn down a NIB 43 year old Winchester. I wish it were a model 12, but that would have added another zero to the price.

NIB Ruger LCR-LG for the wife. $650.00 out the door with 100 rounds of .38 +P. I will purchase another long gun or handgun only after I see what Ruger's soon to be released new weapon is.

Springfield XDM 9mm. Bought it from a friend whose son held it to his head before a well timed phone call and intervention. My friend didn't want the gun in the house due to the karma, so I took it off his hands. Never had a desire to own an XDM, but, you know, it's a nice pistol. Might keep it!

Sabre Defence XR-15 A3 HBAR .223Remington

Just the standard AR.
I like the quality tho, but it's too bad Sabre is the only brand you can find here.

1st Gun Show of 2010

Well 2 days into 2010 and went to my 1st Gun Show in Fort Worth with my son and 2 other shooting buddies.

I fought it - I really did :uhoh::fire::uhoh:

But I lost - here are my 2 :eek: new purchases.

Beretta 92F Inox 9mm

Beretta PX4 9mm

Now, just WHEN will I be able to get to the range ? :):confused:

S & W Mod 14 .38 special 4" barrel. I believe it was made as a target pistol that I think was put on the market in 1967. But since I can't find it on gunbrokers.com or any other site I just don't really know. But it goes bang and shoots exactly where I aim it. Have found several 6" models but nor 4". Still waiting for delivery of my Mossberg 500 20" pistol grip tact shot gun. And I still think I'll probably wish that in the long run I had spent the extra $115 for the Remington.

Wow! what do you do for a living to afford all those toys? Is your company hiring? (Referring to post 2983 Tomcat). Purchased a Beretta Stampede Marshall and a Bersa thunder 380. Also started reloading for both, does that count?
