What is the last gun that you bought?

Just bought a JC Higgins Model 51 in 30-06. This uses an FN commercial Mauser with a High Standard barrel. They are very well made and extremely accurate. The 51 is the same gun as the Model 50 except the 51 has a slightly fancier stock.

The barrel is chrome lined, but someone must have found the most corrosive ammo available because it is pitted beyond repair. Fortunately, the price reflected this. I haven't decided whether to have it rebored to 35 Whelen or to rebarrel it to 25-06.

Decisions, decisions.

April 2014 - Franchi 720 Diamond (20 ga) I love this gun, it fits me like a glove and it is lighter than my 1100 in 410 DSC_0566.jpg

Thursday i pulled the trigger (pun intended) on a Yugo m92pv from classic firearms. Also ended up ordering a sb47 for it ( from jgsales) although I will likely wind up SBR'ing it

S&W 310, 2 inch.

Bought it on a whim cuz I have a few .40's and thought a 10mm Auto pistol would be interesting.

Hate it! Huge, Clunky. Action has more clinks, creeps, clanks than am old caterpillar.
Basically takes a finger from both hands to cycle it double action. I own quite a few great S&W wheelguns, but this is the worst of the worst. I will sell it someday, and never look back!

Here is my new SWR Specwar 762 suppressor on my new Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter with an 18" .308 barrel.

Overall length with the can is just under 41", and it will be my go-to deer set up. I also plan to get a lot of use of the suppressor on my 16" AR-15.

Just ordered a Walther PPQ M2 in 9mm. I wanted a 9mm auto, but I like guns that are a bit different, so wasnt too interested in a glock. Read lots of good reviews about the PPQ as a range gun. Hopefully it will live up to them.

How do you like that 556xi so far? Function Reliably? How about the fit and finish?

I have been strongly considering the 7.62x39 version when it finally reaches market, assuming I haven't heard any horror stories. Seems SIG has a bit of a history with long guns being released with a few bugs recently.

Picked up a Kahr CT9. Was not sure what to expect from it but have been pleasantly suprised to say the least.

Bought a Ruger 10/22 Takedown a couple of weeks ago. What a nice little rifle.

Have a CZ 2075 Rami BD coming tomorrow.

if you are looking for an AR platform 7.62x39, I bought one from model 1 sales from here in TX and it has run like a champ with ZERO issues. theres youtube vids and such to see how well they run as well. The platform def relies on a good magazine, and the gen 2 C Products Defense has given me reliable feeds (I have had no misfeeds at all for the 500+ rounds since I bought the rifle)
