What is the last gun that you bought?

Bergara B-14 Hunter

I ordered a B-14 in 7mm mag for a friend and it shot 1/2 MOA the first trip to the range. I had to have one. Got it in last week in 6.5 Creedmoor. I didn't have time to work up a good load and had to settle for the best that I had with the bullets that I had. R-17 under a 129gr Accubond LR. I have 3 CMs and none of them like this bullet , but that is what I had loaded. I could still ding a plate at 500 yards. The gun has potential.

After shooting some factory 129's and the best I got was a 3" group and according to my chrony there was a 400fps variance in those 20 rounds.

I bought some 123 Hornadys & 200 pieces of new Hornady brass ... I had some Varget in the powder cabinet. Starting load was 36 grains, max is 39.8 ... I decided to start in about the middle with 37.9 grains ... At 100yards I'm getting 5/16" groups ... At 200 yards 1.125" and today at 435 yards at a friends farm I got a 2 5/8" group

Your mileage may vary.

100yards ... I can't find my 5/16 target, but this is the worst I shot that day

200yards

435yards (ignore that hole in the upper right ... I flinched so I'm not including it)
If I'd had more ammo I'd have taken another shot or shot a new target but it was my last 5 rounds

Thank you. That is the kind of group that I am looking for and I just happen to have some Varget.

Ruger Super Redhawk 44 mag, with 9.5 inch barrel. My second 44, to go with my 629. Love the sites, great shooter.

Sooooo I ended up trading in my Kimber Micro Raptor for this G42, 4 boxes of browning target loads, a box of Gold Dots, and trijicon night sights with an orange front post. I feel like I lost a few dollars, but still happy with what I got. I put 106 rounds through it the first day I got it and I like the feel, weight and action SO much better than the Kimber. Far more accurate than I thought it would be and I feel that it's already outperformed the Kimber I took back. I also don't have to worry about it getting scratched or wet or dirty. The only other things I would like to do to this platform is lighten the trigger pull (I think there is one company that has a drop in if I'm not mistaken?), and add some texture to the grip. Other than that, I think after my night sights are put on, I'll be happy as a pig in...well you know.

Leinad/Cobray FMJ Model D. If u don't know what that is I'm not gonna be surprised. Its a.k.a. is the poormans judge lol its an oversized derringer that comes in single(mod.D) and double(mod.DD) barrel models made outta pot metal. Shoots 45lc or .410 and has a heck of a kick... But is fun to mess around with. Slapped it under my coffee table with a big magnet. Live in a not so good area. Gives me a quick first move if needed.

longtime reader, but no posts. Old and worn out. Got a SS Colt Commander, mostly for my son. Got a Glock 42 for me.

I purchased a winchester all weather camo 243 WSSM to feed my odd ball caliber addiction! Next up 270 WSM and 300 WSM. Then hopefully a 264 AI.

Went out yesterday looking for a 17HMR but came home with a hi point 995ts instead. Oh well, maybe next time I'll get my 17HMR. I'm not too mad about not getting one yesterday though.

Up until last week, the last firearm I purchased was a new Ruger SR40c. Just bought a 1964 SAKO Coltsman Deluxe .246 Win Mag last week. Very happy with it.

Hi...
Bought a practically new Ruger BlackHawk in .41Mag with a 6-1/2" barrel yesterday for $350. Barely discernible turn line mark on the cylinder.
Also ordered a pair of Cimarron SAA clones in .44Spl. Availability is problematic...hopefully the distributor will be able to get them. Gun shop owner said it might take several weeks or more to get them.

I'm too old to be buying new guns, so I haven't bought a new gun in years. The last one I bought though was a Browning Hi-Power Mark lll. I've been selling guns that don't get shot much anymore, but I'm keeping the Hi-Power. It and my Colt Commander get shot a lot.

Earlier this year I decided I needed a small single stack 9mm for CCW. While deciding on the 9 I realized that I also needed a new .380 since the 9 was the size of my PPK. So my last two purchases are a Ruger LCP and a Sig P290RS.

Browning Hi-Power MKIII in .40 with fitted 9mm Bar Sto barrel. Found it prowling the used section of a local shop. HI-Power's are not uncommon in these parts, but what caught my eye is that this one had been given a full package of gunsmith love. Full front and back stiple, trigger job, Trijicon night sights, Beavertail welded and blended and extended safety and slide release. It had been Cerakoated (two tone grey and black) and had some scuffs, but for $650 and change I still snatched it up. I don't need another HP, but considering I got the gun for less than the price of the gunsmithing that went into it, I could not resist.

My current EDC. Walther P99c QA. Talon grips and Trijicon sights. 10+1 with a 15rd backup mag with grip adaptor. 394259c596c661a2cd4bd32a131c90d4.jpg
