What is the last gun that you bought?

Scored a Hong Kong Customs and Excise M10,
in a strange coincidence its box arrived today as part of a random auction lot of pistol boxes I bought last week for storage

Then I lost an auction for a clapped out 1st gen SAA, and consoled myself with a hail mary lowball $550 bid on this Colt Officers Model 38 that I actually won.

My oldest nephew who just turned 21 not long ago came by my house this evening to show me his new shooters he got at winston-salem NC gunshow today. He got his first carry pistol a tisas gi 1911 in the proper caliber 45acp. He also got himself a cz scorpion and he showed up with a couple gforce 12gauge bullpup shotties as well. After shooting a few rounds through everything he gives me a big hug and tells me one of the gforce bullpups is mine to keep as a gift for allways being there as he has grown up. I was completely speechless and teared up. Couldn't believe this 21 year old kid spent his hard earned money on me. It gives me hope that today's youth ain't a complete lost cause. 20240323_183604.jpg my new gifted bullpup laying next to his new scorpion 20240323_180818.jpg

My first pellet rifle in about forty years, the Czech Slavia 630, in .177. This will be my sixth gun made in the Czech Republic. 🇨🇿

A very well-vetted member on a different rifle forum's Marketplace offered it today. It's not 'modern' high-velocity, but it will be nice to finally shoot something very silent (by a rural river) out to 25 yards or so.
Might be hard to beat for $100. The wood is beech? There might also be one of these on E-Bay.

Yesterday I picked up a good used M&P Bodyguard 380. It's the non laser model, came with the box, soft case, paper work and both mags. I wish I could find out who traded it in. So often I buy a used gun and it's dry and dirty. This one was clean as a whistle with fresh oil on the rails. It's nice to have a gun that seems to have been taken care of by it's previous owner. I got it for $250, OTD.

I picked up this Taurus Model 82 for $160 OTD. I had to order a new main spring, but for a grand total of $185 and ten minutes at the bench removing that dumb hammer spur and putting in the new main spring...I have a new dedicated snake buster and I can retire my Smith & Wesson Model 10 that I have been using. I don't care if the Taurus gets dings and scratches on it from being in a toolbox or tractor basket, or whatever the conveyance may be. Other than shooting it with bird shot to gauge its pattern at 3 to 5 yards, it's never going to be used for anything else. Screenshot 2024-04-01 12.58.31.png
