Forgot to contribute. Was at the gun store transferring a gun I sold via GB and they had a Galil on the shelf. Sure, on closer inspection a Century, but in really nice condition, half converted (just missing the bipod) to an ARM, etc. "Used," so pretty cheap as they go these days, but maybe never fired. Turns out it was practically zeroed, has working tritium sights (!) and so on. Runs like a top so far, working on some other improvements like replacing mag innards with AR bits.
It was bone dry, looks even better now, and I did some white highlighting of fire selectors, serial, so it looks more authentic.
And, bought... but not in my hands yet, a SIG556 with Swiss 551 (semi) lower, spare mags etc. Not cheap, but a good deal again /for these days/ since SIG stopped US production, imports are rare (even new ones) so prices are climbing even on modern era guns and you simply never see them just laying around actually for sale. So, had the money and I may never see it that "cheap" again, so snagged it up.
