Ironically enough, the last handgun I bought was my first; I sold my Glock 22 to a co-worker after purchasing my M&P 40 back in early '06. Two years later, he tells me he's going to sell it since he never fired it. Even though I felt the M&P was an overall superior weapon to the Glock, I regretted my decision to sell, as even though the ergonomics and recoil characteristics disagreed with me, it was my first firearm, and thus had quite a bit of sentimental value to me. Luckily, he was willing to sell the Glock back to me (for less than I sold it!); I bought it back, and instead of M&P replacing my Glock, they now sit side-by-side in the safe.
