What is the last gun that you bought?

Can't figure out how to reduce the size of the picture, but a 22/45 LITE in blue followed me home the other day. Rarely do I see a strange gun and want it instantly.
 
Picked up an LC9s Pro today. Wanted to sell my original LC9, but the shop only wanted to give me $175 because of some holster wear. Figure I'll do better selling it on my own eventually, so I took both guns back home.
 
PPQ, LEO/Military with 3 mags

Pics at later date, when I have some time. Love the gun, it's all true, did a side by side with G19, Sig 320 compact, and VP9, with eyes closed the trigger is monumental on the Q. I can't imagine a slicker trigger with a better reset, that would not be a danger to carry at all. Even this should only be carried by experienced gun handlers, as it could easily bite you if you are careless.
But if you don't pull the trigger, or have small grabby kids or pets, like I do you have nothing to fear.
 
I bought a Tavor last month ... for the positives;
It ate every type of ammo I tried in it from dirty underpowered Tula to the decent Russian Silver Bear 62 grain HPBT, and very decent 62 grain Carl Gustoff and lastly Federal M855 green tips; also it has decent (although very tall) back-up iron sights on the factory rail.

Negatives; I've never been so disappointed in a gun purchase that had everybody raving about it in my life. It has the worst trigger I've ever pulled and the fact that it's a bullpup has nothing to do with it; I've got an AUG, an M17S, a PS90, and a Valmet M82 and the Tavor is by far the worst; but at least you can buy an aftermarket trigger for about $340+ to remedy that ... Then there is the issue of the LOP if you're 6'4" it's not a problem but most people don't have arms that long. Most guns have a LOP OF 12-13" to fit the average male but the Tavor has a 16" LOP makes it not only awkward but poorly balanced too ... add to the other negatives, most optics for modern weapons are built on a standard height fit for the AR but that's too low for the Tavor because there is no drop in the comb/stock which means using a riser or buying a taller aftermarket rail (there are several aftermarket rails to choose from). So to make it, what most Americans consider "shootable" you have to spend another $500 after you buy the gun! The only way you could make this gun worse is to SBR it ... I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings, that's my opinion of the gun.

So to cheer myself up I bought a Bushmaster ACR ... Mostly because I'm not a fan of the SCAR; the flimsy stock and reciprocating charge handle that is just perfect for whacking the the heck out of the thumb of left hand if it slips up too high ... which will also cause a FTF.
When the ACR was introduced as the Masada by MagPul I was really excited and then disappointed when it didn't materialize but then Busmaster picked it up. It was a bit of a roller-coaster ride on this gun and I'd hoped that would pull Bushmaster out of the funk they'd been in ... it didn't, then Remington/Cerberus bought them out ... Anyway, as it evolved the only difference between the Basic and the Enhanced is the hand guard. Basic is a smooth MagPul design and the Enhanced is covered in rails (which I don't care for).

Negatives for this gun are the back-up sights are the plastic MagPul sights ... and the ambidextrous safety selector is just long enough to poke your trigger finger, and lastly it's about 8 pounds unloaded (but so is the Tavor)

Pluses are the quick-change barrel (I'm looking forward to a 300B.O.), non-reciprocating charge handle that can also be used as a forward assist if necessary, some AR compatibility such as rail height and trigger components, a much sturdier folding stock.

I found a brand new Basic model and got a good deal on it ... Several owners have and like them and they got good reviews on the M.A.C. Channel so, what the heck ... Now I'm the proud owner of one.

Picked this up @Kygunco for an unheard of price. Honestly, this thing is capable of giving my Glock 26 a 'run for its money...'
 
Don't have it yet, but it was a Marlin 1889 in .38/40 WCF. It was 47 years ago that I last had one ... but suffering from young, married man syndrome, I ended up selling it to pays for something we needed.

Now I have one again, not the same rifle ... but at 70 years of age ... close counts!:uhoh:
 
Although not technically a handgun nor a firearm federally nor in many states/local jurisdictions my most recent acquisitions (from local Austin area gun shows).

9 shot bp .44 cal Le Mat revolver repro w/through cylinder single ML shotgun barrel

6 shot bp .44 cal Whitneyville-Walker Colt revolver repro with full Colt marking(220 grain conical/60 grain bp) with case, Walker/Dragoon flask, and Colt bullet mold.

PS-Open carry in Texas with a CHL is a hair's breadth of passing the Texas Leg. It's about time.
