As Ambidextrous1 has noted, this is an interesting bimodal distribution. The peaks are not on a generation apart: The older peak is Viet Nam era and the younger peak is Middle East War era. Somehow, I doubt that this a coincidence (but statistically, it would require a much more elaborate test).

I'd be willing to bet that there are a lot of people here that either won't respond with their true age or won't respond at all.

I'm 29.

I'm 75. Started reloading brass (both handgun and rifle) about 2-3 years ago. Reloaded shotgun shells for approx. 20 years.

19 here, and have been shooting since age 7 :)

Nothing can compare to the shooting sports, hunting, and the outdoors in general. I couldn't imagine enjoying something else as much as I do these.

Turned 21 last week and already have 2 CCW permits and working on a third. I'm also looking into setting up a NFA trust for some suppressors and SBRs as soon as I can afford them

Edit: Just picked up that third permit today!

14, I'll be 15 next week. Been shooting since I was just knee high to a grasshopper. :D Actually, since I was about 6-7. Can't really remember.

I voted so I could see the results. I am surprised at how evenly distributed the ages are.

That is very encouraging, especially that there are so many shooters under 50...keep the shooting sports alive!!

Ok, I'm 67.
