I wasn't going to vote but finally broke. I voted S&W because I like the ergonomics. While it is an inexpensive pistol I actually like the ergonomics of the Dagger a lot.

Glock knows plastics, no question, but the idea that they have some kind of ability to make a plastic with properties no one else can begin to duplicate is going to be a tough argument to support with objective facts, as opposed to corporate propaganda.

Yep. Propaganda and nothing more.

You should try one if you haven't. You are missing out on some really good firearms that cost much less than the equivalent reliability in a steel gun.

I'm not a big fan of polymer guns, but I've owned and used several. I've had a couple of Glocks, including Models 17, 22, 42, KelTec PF9, and Ruger LCP and P95.

The KelTec was a jam-o-matic, so it's out. It was handy sized, but even with a fluff and buff wouldn't work. I didn't have the patience to deal with KelTec customer service back then.

The Ruger P95 was my favorite of the full sized guns as far aesthetics and just overall feel. My only real complaint was that it was very slick. At the time, I didn't know about stippling, and I ended up swapping it off.

The LCP was probably the most useful to me, though it was part of a trade towards something better (Smith & Wesson 686). It was probably the nicest, as nice as a plastic gun can be.

I have had the most experience with a Glock 22, even carrying one for a few years. I don't dislike them at all, but they lack soul. They aren't aesthetically appealing or particularly historically interesting. The model 17 I had, I swapped it to a friend, but it was neat because I had a 33 round stick mag.

I have put many thousands of rounds of ammo down range with metal-framed pistols and metal revolvers over the last 40 years. I have experience shooting Glock 23's for the Arkansas Department of Corrections and I like them. The only other full-size polymer gun I have shot a lot has been my Ruger SR-9, which is my favorite "plastic fantastic". However, there are scads of different polymer-framed guns out there I haven't tried, so I don't know for sure its the best.

I have shot many Tupperware guns retired USCG never liked them.

I have a few I like. Both are Sig Sauer, but neither one is a striker fired gun.
