what is your "Just Because" Firearm? and Why?

The first "just because gun" of mine that comes to mind, is my mosin 91-30, Just-Because it's a no-brainer deal! Very fun rifle for $99

Two others that also came to mind first are seen top and bottom of the follwing photo, my Wildey .45 win-mag, and J.P. Sauer & Sohn 'Texas Marshal' .45LC

Bought them Just Because they are AWESOME! very fun calibers to shoot, very stunning firearms to look at, wish I had better photos but this was the easiest and quickest to find

My FAL project gun. Almost every part was new-in-the-wrap. Except L1a1 cocking handle, one screw and muzzle device which were refinished... still looking... Its seen a lot of use and no longer looks new and cost a heck of a lot more to build than buy assembled. I just had to tho...

FN PS-90, just because I told the guy, "Gee, too bad you don't have one in stock right now, I'd buy it" .... and less than a minute later BigBrownTruck stops by the door and delivers one. I don't mind too much, it's a second-generation.

Daewoo USAS-12, just because I saw it in a magazine right before I went home on leave from Germany. It was waiting for me at the gun store when I arrived in CONUS. I wasn't even going to shoot it, but the guy at the range convinced me with a free box of shells if he could shoot it as well.

Now I do not have the collection that most of you have, but for me it would have to be my Marlin 336 in 30-30 and my Henry H001. I don't hunt or have a need for a lever action but I still have an infatuation for them anyway.

I have a reason (ok, an excuse) for all the guns I own but I built an AR-15 just because I could. I suppose it couldmake an excellent HD weapon or protect me from the walking dead (not too far fetched if the 2012 election swings the way the last one did.)

1889 Springfield, .30-40 Krag-Jorgenson. Why? Historical value as the first US Military smokeless repeating rifle, used during the Spanish-American War (1898) and had the shortest service life of any US Military firearm.

My wife, a Norwegian, liked it so much, she bought it from me. She wrote me a check from our joint account. Something tells me that wasn't the most profitable deal I've ever made.

Ammo can be difficult to find, so I don't shoot it much.

Ruger Super Blackhawk, and its partner in caliber, a Marlin 1894 in .44 mag.

While it ain't the tactical pinnacle, I wouldn't feel too undergunned with that pair on a long walk in the woods.
I would carry a .22 revolver for general plinking, though.

My Marlin 795. Picked it up after a bad job interview... I was in a bad mood, so I was going to go to the range, but stopped to get ammo... left with a Marlin.

Also, my 870 (my first gun) I bought when I was 18 for HD and to basically do anything I wanted from a shotgun, but there was a little bit of "Just because" there.

Keltec sub 2000. I can't find a practitical reason to keep it. But is sure is fun to stick a 33 round glock magazine in it and blast.
