It appears the definition has changed over the years. It used to be a gun that folks left in the truck, usually a carbine or a Beater of some type, that stayed in the truck, maybe in a gun rack or on the floor under the back seat, maybe a 22 rifle like the good old 10/22.. Something for animals on the property, or breaking down somewhere late at night on a back road Perhaps something that was a bit less than in spectauler shape.
But now the meaning is different, I see guys with SBR's in Pellican cases. What would you consider a perfect Truck gun. Is it something that stays in the vechicle or something that goes in when you do? Is it a pistol or a rifle, maybe a shotgun? These guys think it's one of 5, what say you all?
