What sidearms do the LEOs in your area carry.

The biggest agency around here has a lot of choices in terms of what they carry, and officers have to buy their own guns. The list of "acceptable" firearms used to be really long, and now it's quite a bit shorter. But, just about any 9mm or .45 ACP offering from Glock, S&W, or Springfield still qualifies.

Never heard of a department of livestock, and I live in a farming community and have had cattle my whole life...... but they have great taste regardless.

They investigate all crimes dealing with livestock and the transportation of livestock.

I just heard today that the Arkansas State Police are moving from .45 acp to 9mm. I'm assuming they'll go to G17s from their G21s.

A friend of mine who is a LEO chose a VP9 for his sidearm not long ago.

I have only seen one of them in person and he was carrying a 1911.
