My first gun was when I was either 5 or 6, it was a .177 cal. BB gun. I can remember putting the muzzle end in the dirt and pulling downward with all my strength on the lever to cock it.
Mine was a model 60 Marlin (squirrel stock) od model .22 I sold it a long time ago but luckily found one in better shape than what I had some years back and won't sell this one
Other than a Crosman .22 pump up pellet rifle, the Marlin bolt action 20 gauge was the first usable firearm. I was given a Win 1890 in WRF before that, but didn't have ammo for it until much later.
The first gun that I shot was a single shot kid sized .22LR rifle. When I was in my single digits at a summer camp. First gun I owned though was an H&K P7M13 9mm much later in life. Far too long a wait...
