I have no kids. My first gun was an old, Colt SP-1 AR-15 that I bought in April of 1983. That one's long gone, but I've since bought quite a few more. Those I now have will go to my four year-old nephew or a good friend who also likes guns if I kick it unexpectedly.

You don't "find" them, you build them (sometimes at considerable time, effort and expense).

I am the "kid" my grandfather got me a Winchester 120 youth 20GA and my next gun was given to me by my father for my 20th b-day Mossberg 500 12GA

My son Taylor, he will be 5 this September. This is his gun, I bought it for him about 6 months ago and told him it would be waiting in the closet for him when I thought he was ready. Its an old Winchester single-shot bolt gun - model 121 or 161, something like that. So old it doesnt have a serial number but its in excellent shape...as you can tell.

I let him handle it (or any of my other guns) anytime he wants.......some recent pictures. Notice he has a very little silver MIA bracelet on.....he hasnt taken that off since I gave it to him almost 1 year ago.
