First off, I want to wish every one a Happy and Safe New Year!

A stainless Ruger Mark II .22 pistol made my last one for the year, but I'm already planning for my 2003 purchase - I have my "safety" know-how, HSC card, 3 months worth of utility bills, and a clean thumb ready to go!

After five years of bashing 1911s as a loyal Glock owner,

I bought a Kimber Classic Stainless (Series I) with a ton of upgrades from a friend at a gunshop for $550. Great deal and the gun is as accurate as people claim. More accurate than any of my 45 ACP Glocks at least.

These are the two I purchased at the same time and actually took possesion of:

I also put a deposit on a Dan Wesson Razorback a week after picking the above up.

Glock 17 3rd generation with 17-round magazines (we don't have that ridiculous federal ban on high cap mags)

my dad is still waiting for his AR-15

new?

Well if "new" means new to me, I bought a 1916 Colt New Service on the 13th and a 1940's S&W 2" M&P on the 14th.

I'm looking one last time afterwork today before I retire my BFSC card... ;)

I wasn't as active as I was in '01. I only bought 3 handguns this year, the last one being my USPc 9:D
Happy New Year one & all!

Finished off my first year of gun buying and ownership by getting a Glock 22. Bought my first one in January of this year, and now many guns later, I will be shopping for more at the show next month! :)

Happy new year!

Yesterday I purchased a stainless Colt 1991 Commander with the new rollmarks to be my project gun for 2003. On this gun, my 'smithing plans are minimal. New Navidrex micarta grips and hex-head grip screws, an Ed Brown snakeskin mainspring housing, and a Casull short trigger are the only planned part changes. I may also change the extractor, but I want to shoot it some more before I decide.
