What was your last new handgun purchase for 2002?

My last new handgun of the year was a Ruger Mark II Competition Target Model.

But, more recently, I picked up a new-to-me Bulgarian Makarov in excellent condition.

Am I banned from the handguns board now?

I just realized that I didn't buy a handgun last year. I can't remember buying one anyway. Did buy 3 rifles, 2 scopes(for nearly $900), a front rest w/ windage top, rear bags, front bags, Dewey rods, digital trigger scale, hand tools and bunch of stuff, but no handguns.

Don't feel sorry for me though, I bought quite a few starting in 1999.

If I could just find the right Commander. I'm too picky.

Purchased two at virtually the same time. Picked up a new Valtro, my first 1911 and a used S&W mod 19 2 1/2" from a fellow TFL member. Thought that the S&W had a loose lockup, but turns out that the loose lockup was in my brain. Great gun.

December purchase held at bay by having 12 grandkids and 3 greats. think i will just get another Contender bbl this mo.
