what's more acurate, shooting a handgun traditional, or sideways

Here's something you should try some time:

Set up a nice little shooting area with one target to your front.
And a long strip of cleared space running in front of it, sideways. (About 35 to 44 feet)

What you want to do is start at one end of the strip and by the time you hit the other end you want to be at a dead sprint and out of ammo, ideally with no rounds left in your magazine.

That is a freakin' hoot. Oh yeah and let me know how the proper hold goes on that. 8)

Keep in mind folks, that not everybody has the same shooting needs. Need I point out the "one shot every three seconds" rule at some ranges?
Because the drill above sounds pretty darned useful to a Combat Medic to me.

Now, I'm not going to condone a full sideways cant, but a good 45 dgerees while trying to drag a 150 pound object backwards and trying to empty a magazine into a dummy ten yards away is quite ... quite normal.
