What's Your Favorite 9mm Pistol to Shoot?

My CZ-75B if I had to pick one. But the Glock 19 was a bit of a revelation to me. Easy to see how it could quickly make a new shooter a competent, confident shooter.

I've shot a lot of autos, but only owned a few. My favorite since the day I bought it in the early 1990s is a 3rd Generation Smith & Wesson 5900 series. I usually refer to it as a 5904 in conversation because most people know what those are. But mine was marketed as a budget version... Model 915. It takes the same 15-rnd mags as the 5904 and they're aren't enough differences between the 5904 and the 915 to matter. I actually like the 915 a bit better. I put Hogue grips on it and Meprolight sights. It fits my hand like it was custom made just for me. It's reliable and accurate... will shoot everything I put through it.

I had an Auto Ordnance 1911 45 ACP for a while years ago. It was ok, but I got rid of it.
Other than that I have an older Browning Hi-Power 9mm that I really like and will never part with. I'm sure it's worth something. Had it long before my S&W, but it mostly sits in the safe.

More power to my Glock fan friends but Glocks don't do anything for me. Not just Glocks either... I'll never buy a "Plastic" gun, including any variety of M&P. We like what we like I guess. Same with Berreta. They're just not my cup of tea.

IMHO S&W 3rd Generation are still the cat's meow. If my 915 breaks I'll have it fixed. If it can't be fixed I'll find another in as great condition as the one I have now.

A difficult question to answer but most likely two standouts.

For sheer fun, a 1941 Walther P-38 bring-back that was later chromed by a previous owner.

For most often chosen to carry, my 1985 S&W 469. It was the original factory produced compact Wonder Nine and all the things that made it a joy to carry and shoot in the mid 1980s are still true today. It's relatively light with a fantastic Smith trigger and 15 round magazines from the Model 59. It's just slightly longer than my S&W Shield 2.0 in both the slide and the grip if I use the 6 round shield magazine but actually a shorter grip than the Shield with the 8 round magazine and as mentioned, 15 + 1 rounds. Being a double stack magazine does make the 469 slightly wider in the grip than the shield. I had both the 469 and a S&W 5906 (that was simply beautimus) but it was the 469 that actually got carried while the 5906 was the beauty at the range.

I see Tiribulus woke up an older thread here, but I'll play. Not even close really. My CZ Shadow2 Orange with an SRO is my favorite all time handgun to shoot.

Between 3rd gen Smith and Wessons, SIG P226s or 210, Smith & Wesson CORE, Tanfoglio Witness, Turkish HP clone...whichever one I'm shooting that day!

9mm I own (or have owned) include, a CZ 75B, a Ruger KP89, a SIG P226, CZ PCR, CZ P01, CZ 75B Compact, SIG P290RS, Kel Tec PF9.

Out of what I've owned, my favorites:
Full size: hands down the CZ 75B
Compact service pistol: It is a toss up between the three at the range, but probably the PCR since I wanted it so long
Subcompact or micro: the SIG P290

Out of those I don't own but have shot on multiple occasions (either range rentals I've rented on multiple occasions, or friends' guns I've shot many times), the Kahr MK9 and PM9 would be close contenders with the SIG P290. A Beretta 92 might beat out the CZ 75B in looks (I really like the aesthetics of both), and I like the history of both, but I definitely prefer the feel of the CZ (I will likely buy a Beretta 92 before too long). Heck, the Kel Tec P11 I rented many times (and almost bought) probably would serve the purpose I bought the P290 for better (though I love my P290) and who can argue with 10 rounds in a smaller and lighter package?

That's easy - My Star Model B.
Looks and works like a 1911, with a better trigger and smoother overall feel. Dead accurate, and feels good in the hand. runs like a train. It's probably the most accurate 9mm I own.
Actually have two. the other is too pretty to shoot.

Of the ones I've shot I probably likes the shield best. I would like to try a shield plus it's very likely even better. At the moment I shoot tighter groups with my Taurus gx4. I currently also own a 9mm hk p2000 but I'm just not a fan of 9mm for full sized pistols.
