7.62x25 is the closest to an odd caliber that I load. I sure had a hard time learning the knack of not collapsing the case when seating the bullet. I finally discovered the answer which is seat in one operation and then crimp in the final operation. I was going to say the 9x18 until I realized a lot of guys load for it.
218 bee in an old Winchester 43 boltgun. It really likes the lighter bullets and its a good walking gun....and the only factory ammo I have seen in the last 10 years was 80 dollars for a box of 50. Needless to say....I reload.
.30-40 Krag, but I have put together some shortened 45-70 loads, 1.625" brass length, so they are legal for deer hunting in Indiana. The state lengthened it last year to 1.8" so I can squeak a bit more velocity out of any more I develop.
