What's your favorite oddball caliber to reload for ?

Same here oneounceload, the 32s have become my plinkers since 22lr has become scarce. Cast lead and small charges keep it cheap.

Yep, I flipped a S&W RP 32SWL TARGET gun with 6"barrel and adjustable sights made in 1928 only to find out they are more rare than the K32 Masterpiece - I made money and the buyer got a good deal, but those I frames are sure cool. Same pawn shop had a 4" shooter I just picked up (haven't shot it yet) but it should do OK.

Flipping that 32 let me buy a K22, Beretta semi and the 32 above and have cash left over, so I can't complain, but I would have liked to have kept her

NO recoil, SCARY accurate and CHEAP to reload...........32s are where its at

.38-40 for my original Winchester '73.

As soon as I tried to find ammo for it, I realized it was cheaper to get a whole reloading setup than to buy 2-3 boxes of factory ammo.

It's the only caliber I reload.

7.65x25 has been mentioned a couple times I load that but not a lot, I still have an entire spam can of milsurp for that. I also load 7.62x45 though. That stuff has nearly completely dried up stateside, nobody makes it commercially, nobody makes brass, and there are no published loads from the manfacturers.. Makes it fun to load for :)

Hi...

Brand new here, but not to the hobby...
Been reloading for 35 years or more, roughly speaking.

Only load for a couple of calibers that might be considered "oddball"...
I reload for .264WinMag for a friend...I don't own a rifle in that caliber and never have.
I load .45AutoRim for my S&W 1917.
And I load .375SuperMag for my Dan Wesson revolver. I know a lot of shooters that have never even heard of the SuperMag family of cartridges or Dan Wesson or Elgin Gates, for that matter.

Nothing too exotic...just a little bit different

I'm also a fan of the .32 Long, but my favorite to load is the .45 Auto Rim. I've loaded dozens of calibers in my career and I've never found an easier round to reload.

.38 S&W (not .38 S&W Special - .361 diameter bullet)

9x23 Win. (straight wall case - 1450 fps with 125 gr. bullet)

225 Winchester. Obsolete for a few years now. Great cartridge that almost rivals the 22/250 Remington velocities.

Maybe not "odd ball" but definitely uncommon are my three favorite cartridges that I've used most: .22 Hornet, .350 Rem mag and the .250/3000.
