semi-auto handguns. for some reason i shoot them better than any other gun, including rifles and revolvers.(shotguns don't count in accuracy to me, point and click-user friendly!) give me a couple mags to get the feel for the trigger and i will shoot the X out with a semi auto handgun. give me a $1000 dollar rifle with a $1000 dollar optic, and i may hit the X a few times. maybe i just need more range time with my rifles, i shoot the pistol every range trip, but the rifles not so much.

Single shot rifles, Finer grades of sxs shotguns, especially my French sliding breech models, Swiss and Swedish milsurps. My M41 S&W22 handgun above all other handguns.

I'm confused.....

I like rifles the most.....

I spend more money on handguns.....

And I make my living with shotguns......

.....and I'm damn glad I don't HAVE to choose between any of them:uhoh:

For me it's revolvers. I shot 3 guns at the range at lunch time today. 2 of 3 were revolvers.

Bolt-action, heavy barrel is a lot of fun. There's the challenge of reading the wind, estimating range, trying to hold the darn thing steady enough...

I enjoy shooting 1911 pistols, the Garand, .22 rifle as well, but I guess I'm more of a varmint hunter than anything. (And varmint hunting is good practice for deer hunting...)

I like all types of firearms, some more than others. My bigest love though is the M1 carbine. It's the first firearm I ever shot where I actually hit what I was aiming at. I was about 10 years old and my uncle took me out shooting adn I couldn't hit spit with anything he handed me. I figured I'd waste a few of his rounds just to say I had shot one and wouldn't you know it, I hit the target. Figured it was a fluke so I pulled the trigger again. Pretty close to the first shot. Aimed at an old fence post stuck in the ground, saw splinters fly, shot at an old can about 30 yds out, went flying in the air like I'd seen on TV. From that point on, it was love.

Rifle Small bore= Marlin 39a Golden Mountie
Large Bore= Reminton 700 30-06 BDL Custom

Pistol SIG 229 .40

Shotgun The Remington 1100 that my father left me

Handguns for sure. I like large caliber DA revolvers a lot. S&W a favorite. I like .22lr DA revolvers also.

I'm a long-gun guy, because that's what I have the most experience with, but they haven't made a gun that I'm not interested in yet.

Save maybe Glocks. :neener:

any that go bang when i pull the trigger and are not uncomfortable to pick up. still have 3 that are just too heavy for this old man to carry around. no they are not for sale

.22 rimfire, all of them, bolt, lever, semi, revolver, pistols. Big, small, ugly and pretty. I may have a problem.

Oh man, that's a tough one...

I have to put another vote in for Single Shot Rifles. Particularly underlever Single Shot Rifles, with a soft spot for Falling Blocks.

I like them big ole' honkin' battle rifles, bolt action or otherwise.
You know, the kind you can use for shooting, pole vault, ditch digging, brush clearing, or as a club, tent post, flag pole, etc.:D

Depends on what I want to do

Love em all but only use shotgun for turkey and home defense
rifles and pistols, any action any caliber. If I am shooting 300 - 600 yards, 308, serious distance 300WBY, plinking any gun short or long from 30-30 down to BB gun. Yup a BB gun at 26' is fun, cheap too. Answer: no favorite type.
