Looks like memorial day I'll be able to take an extra day off of work and the outdoor range is open. Since I knew I'd bring 1700 rounds for the wife and I in an assortment of calibers I decided to look for supplies.
I've used magnum spp before without issue sp got 10k from brownells for fair price. Found regular spp at grafs in stock with a max order amount but it was very fair.
Ordered another 3k if the rmr mws in 124gr 9mm and another 1k of mprs. Mw backordered and I stated no hurry ship when ready but they shipped the mprs already.
Feels good to even see shooting again on the horizon as the last twelve weeks have had no powder burned.

Powder Valley has good selection of primers back in stock, including BR4s. I picked up 2 boxes.
Interesting. The same primers are about $1 per hundred more here than in your area. I'm in SE Louisiana.

So got kind of lucky with this today. Went to Sportsman's and waited for like 1/2 hour. Someone helps me and I ask if they have any left since everything else said out of stock and I figure for the price why not. They have one but he double checks the price and its $170. Show him the tag but the skus are different. The sale price was for a different sku which it says they have one left. So what do you know it was in the shelf. Different sku, $70 cheaper. I'll take it!

My local Sportsman Warehouse has CCI and Federal small pistol primers for $23.99 with a limit of 1k. Picked up 1k SPP this afternoon. They also had large rifle primers for the same price. No powder though.
I'm glad some of us can take advantage of the SW offering.
I'm in Houston. The closest SW to me (Slidell, LA) is 387 miles one way.
Even if I saved 6 bucks per thousand, I'd need at least 10k primers just to break even on the fuel! LOL!
(Truth be known, I already have plenty of primers. Just figured someone else might be able to use the info.

For those that are looking, Powder Valley has CCI and Winchester small pistol primers in stock.
Did they charge you hazmat and shipping?
I tried ordering online and it said free shipping and hazmat didn’t show up. I am afraid to hit send because after paying shipping and hazmat it will be more than I can pay local.
