Which would you pick?

I don't own either, but everything I have heard about the 5.7 round sounds amazing. P90 probably doesn't fit into this category but that FN five.seveN pistol looks like heaven to me.

Matching Calibre

I currently have an SAA in .38 and a lever action in .357 which are compatible fun guns. I really like my Colt Bisley in 44 special and at some point would like a lever action in 44 magnum. So many options - so little time.:)

No need for matching ammo in today's society...... But, if you must:

In order:
1. 45 Colt
2. .357 mag
3. .44 mag
4. .30 Carbine
5. 10mm auto

I have a Marlin 1893C in 357, the choice would be between any of 3 S&Ws; a 3" 13, a 4" 581 or a custom 4" pencil barrel 65.
If my 581 was not a very early one it would be chopped to 3", round butted, moonclipped with a gold bead front sight.

My combo

Berreta Storm 40S&W 4 hicaps, front hand grip, Insight tech light and a Burris red dot sight.
HK USP 40S&W fullsize 4 hicapsand, UTL light

I'd choose a Marlin 1894 and Ruger Redhawk, both in 44 Magnum. The rifle would be scoped.

If I were after something more modern & hi-cap, I'd go with a pair of Beretta Storms in 9mm Parabellum. PX4 pistol and CX4 carbine. This combo has the advantage of not only sharing ammo, but also magazines.

Mine would be my Blackhawk in 357 Maxi and the Marlin 336 that started out as a 35 Rem but my smithy is turning into a Maxi so i can have the lever action Max i always wanted

A AMT Automag and a Ruger Deerslayer both in .44mag. Neither are made anymore but were at one time, and are still available if you have the money. Of course a Desert Eagle in .44mag would work instead of the AMT.
Or how about a Magnum Research .45/70 SA revolver with a Marlin lever gun to match.

Mp5, CZ75. 9mm.
Thompson, 1911, 45.
AR-15, plr16, 223.
p90, 5-7, in 5.7

Realistically something in 454 would be nice. becasue you can the use 45 lc, as well.

In the "Ideal world" I would have choice number two.

If only one. Hmm.
If hunting was included in this equation
Ruger Redhawk (4 inch model) in .44 mag
Marlin in same caliber as my levergun.

If strictly self defense:

1911 in .45 ACP with an appropriate carbine in said caliber.

I already made the choice.

Henry AR-7 and Ruger P4.

.22 LR is ubiquitous cheap and effective when nothing else is available!!

The AR-7 breaks down into it's stock for easy grab and go and the Ruger is mack truck reliable, something to consider when bugging out.

Besides, when Wallyworld was selling .22 for less than $10 a box, I bought a bunch!!
