Which would you sell?

Ditch the 226 Tacops - easily replaced, not worth much, and certainly not collectible.
I concur that logic dictates it is easily replaced....Tacops gets my vote as well!

The first that I would sell would be the ECO unless I used it for CC . If so , then the Sig .

Keep the Berretta, or ship it to me for safe keeping. It is rare and unique. Ditch one of the less unique things, preferably one of the revolvers.

The x86 wheelguns would be easier to replace, I would not want to part with any of those semis, particularly the Wilson Beretta 92G SD Tac Ops, which is such a "bad" pistol, that the back orders from Wilson are out to next Feb!

When wife got pregnant with our daughter, she made me sell things I didn't use on a regular basis:

- Dune buggy/original Meyers (she said I could always get a replacement - So far, not successful)

- Karmann Ghia project (Will replace project with Scout 80/800 after retirement)

- KX250/YZ125 (they were replaced with Yamaha quads)

- Safe full of rifles and pistols (she said if I hadn't shot in 6 months, I probably won't shoot them later)

After 16 years, I really regret having sold the Meyers dune buggy and many firearms that I cannot find replacement for. What I particularly miss are the German Sig 226 and Norinco 1911 heavily fortified with Wilson Combat parts I started shooting matches with. As to rifles, Chinese NHM 91. It was a soft shooting tack driver I will likely never find another one in new condition. I could find another FAL but I really did like the one I had (but considering an AR10 build to ease the memories).

If these were the firearms you have "thinned" from the others pistols you sold off, there may have been a good reason why. Instead of torturing yourself which ones to keep/sell, I would consider the option of generating extra cash to buy what you want.

If your boss (wife) has issues, I found doing things that really matters to my wife and special projects she values softened her perspectives to the point where she would suggest that I am due for another gun purchase. ;):D

Yeah, the Sig is the easiest replaced, but also probably the least value. The Eco is also still produced at a reasonable cost - so that's likely the next if it were me. The old wheelguns are just too precious to lose.

Im thinking of brown bagging it and missing a meal a day. Its too hard...and I am surprised to hear all the Beretta Unlove! Not cool. I was lucky enough to get one of the few with the trigger jobs and mag guide from the factory. I put thought into it and the only one I am willing to get rid of is the nicely oversize 686. I love my 586 and could probably never part with it cause it goes so well the 17's, 18's, and 19's. I prefer the Old Smith Blues. I like my Dan Wesson's but the Eco would be next in line for the simple reason it could easily be replaced as mentioned.

Welcome to the internet. Where you cannot post about a 92, 1911 or Glock without a lot of haters chiming in....

The LAST one to sell is the 586 no dash !!!

(I too find the Beretta bashing a bit surprising...)

So, I have decided to put the 686 up for sale. You guys are right I dont need both. They are nice show pieces side by side but that is it. Although they are really nice side by side 686 by 586 with the 8 3/8 bbl...I digress...

thank you for the input

I might dump the ECO as well cause I want a Valkrie to go with my Valor bobtail...but then Im back to square one. This game is never ending...

The funny part is that while I enjoy the hell out of my guns and there are several I would not sell unless at the very end of all my options, the pursuit and wheeling and dealing is what makes me happiest.

I have a lot of fun when in the midst of a purchase, or a sale.

I wouldn't sell any of them....but If I had to choose for you, No way I would sell the Beretta...those Wilson Berettas are SWEET. I would sell the SIG or the S&W 686...they will be making those for quite a while

Don't sell any of those revolvers. That'll narrow your list down pretty dramatically. The only handguns I've ever regretted selling, even for good reason, were revolvers. Semi's come and go. There's a rifle and a shotgun or two I regretted. Never regretted selling a semi. Ironically, that is what I have the most of as I think is probably true of many people. I wish I had more revolvers but I have so few simply because there are harder to find and even harder to find at an affordable price in good condition.

I would normally get rid of the Beretta, as others have suggested, but the Wilson Combat version -- if its one of the new ones that have been given special attention, is special -- and not easily replaced.

If any of the S&W guns might be considered collectible, that would be a keeper -- otherwise, one of the S&Ws would probably be one of the first ones to go. (This IS the Auto-loaders forum, you know :))

Haha..Walt...I really was expecting more wheel gun negativity, but this thread has been flexible a bit. My 686 is the one on the line to sell though to replace my new semi automatics.
