Is it just me or does that look like it's too wide for a Mosin.

I subbed to you by the way. Looking forward to the end product. :)

After looking at it, it looks as though that is necessary because of the edges being so rough.

lol, well get the shape close and any gaps fill with body filler. Its looking good so far, i like the videos also :D

Anyone know someone that could fit a stock? I'm thinking you can send me a blank of that SV98 stock to be fitted to my 111.

Well let me get this one done and tested out first, make sure that the wood and glue will hold up. I'm thinking $85-90 without inletting, just shaped. Depends on the price your inletting guy will do. PM me and I'll give ya a price to work with.

I'll have to get back to you on buying a stock for now but I'm interested when I do get the money to spend. If you can start mass producing these, you should inlet them for Remington 700s, I'm sure they'll start selling good.

as far as holes in your birch ply go. I was talking to my grandpa the other day and he was cutting something out on the scroll saw and was raving about that 9 ply Baltic birch from woodcraft. He said it had absolutely no holes in it. He was an engineer and i rarely here him sing praises about anything. The holes are not an issue for someone who bondos and paints it but if a stain was used that stuff from wc would be the ticket. It costs more, and so should the end product from a sellers stand point. I personally would like mine painted green like you plan.Just some food for thought.

LoonWulf, that stockmaking machine was taken off the market a few weeks ago. Its now in the shop making stocks, and I can tell you that no stockmaking machine is going to work with plywood. Laminated stockwood is a far cry from glued plywood.
