I was wanting to try to get a muzzle loader this season, but I don't think I'll have the funds for it this year. So that means I still have almost 3 months still to wait. Might be heading down to Southern GA after new year's though to go hog hunting on an old plantation though. Looking forward to that.

Grouse hunting starts in about 3 weeks. Some cooler weather through MN got me thinking Fall is nearly here.
Found a 12g, 28" fixed modified choke, 3" mag barrel for my Browning B80 for a reasonable price online. This should turn my high school goose gun into something I can use for pheasant trip to SD in late October. Arrives Wednesday, hope it is what it looks like. This shotgun deserves to get out of the safe and into the field or duck slew.
Need to get back to the range and finish my handloads for the 6.5x55 swede. Deer opener in MN first weekend in November.
I have a lot to do. No time for work. Unfortunately still working over 70 hrs a week through Sept 9, no holidays for me.
