As of two weeks ago I fired my first black powder revolver. I was hooked. As of this moment,I own a hawken.50, 1860 army and found out that my son has gotten me a 1851 navy.(for Christmas). Help me How about a intervention.

There is no cure , one day you`ll have to sell a few to make room for others you haven`t owned yet .
I got strung out on 1858 Remingtons back in 99 , I ended up with 12 before I could bring myself to sell a few and buy some Colts .
I called myself a member of the gun a month club .......sounds better that way , and the wife didn`t seem to know how that works ..hee hee

You should be thanking your lucky stars that we didn't otherwise you would be missing out on all the fun and excitement. I want to hear you say "Thank You" to all of us for the fine servicewe provided. Say it and say it loud and like you mean it. If you think you are into it now just wait till you fire THE WALKER and then you will really thank us.

Don't worry, recovery is possible: All you have to do is make sure to buy steel frame guns. When you feel it's possible to save yourself, all you have to do is add cartridge conversions.

First thing "THANK YOU ALL" AND DID SOMEBODY SAY 'WALKER?
aww jees...another addiction. I just saw a vid and it's my next gun!!!
that thing is a monster.with all the snow we got here, that would melt a whole lot of it. i have shot guns before but i could bang my head for not getting into this years ago.but no more wasting time.i may have to sell my milsurps now.

I "lost control" years ago but I can quit any time. I've been told that I have C&B revolvers just like Imelda Marcos had shoes. :>)

"Abandon hope all ye who enter here" should be the motto of the C&B shooter :D. To steal the words of Lloyd C. Douglas, it is a "Magnificent Obsession", Isn't it? :D

And, Like Hellgate, I can quit anytime I want to - But, who wants to???????

Hey Redman900,
Did you say you needed to unload the milsurps? Well some of us are just a little addicted to that adventure as well. It doesn't beat the almighty black but runs a close second in my book. Give us first dibs.
FJ

Hey F.Jimbo I sure will! This way i'll know they will have a good home when i'm ready to sell

ONce you go WALKER you will never look back. its a full double load from what your shooting now. 4 1/2 lbs 16inches long. When i take mine to the shooting range everyone stops to see what your shooting. Then it sets off car alarms in the parking lot. that big low BOOOOM

Heck just the size of it makes people automaticly say DANGGGGG

For me Black Powder Cartridge is the best of all worlds. Loading & shooting is quicker but you spend even more time loading your cartridges. But cap & ball is a blast too.

Me Too.

Hey :
I fell in to this Black hole too.
My new 1860 feels sooooo good.
I think I am going to need another safe soon.
Cartridge conversion is next. of course that will need a whole new gun around that cylinder.

Another month or so and I will have one.

Merry Christmas:)

You know what they say about Heroin...."First Shots Always Free!"
Well, same here.
I'm giving 2 revolvers for Christmas, complete with Goex fffg, caps, balls, tools, etc.
It took a few months of shopping the auctions etc and collecting the bits, but I'm pretty sure I'll get 2 more young men hooked.
Nice pieces too. I kinda wanted to keep 'em myself!
Yep, me too.

Shipchief you should be ashamed..(kidding) i"m trying to hook as many people as i can too! maybe this will catch on and we will have to be federally funded, cause it will be a pandemic. And have to send us all to rehab ha ha
