Will you go switch to a revolver if there is 5-6 rnd mag ban?

I'm going to carry what I always carry legal or not. Seeing as the point of disarming anyone is illegal all in it self.

My wife shoots a revolver -- which, like any good husband, I have to clean.

I think my autoloaders are much easier. So, no.

I started with a revolver in 64. Since then there has not been been a gun I havent been able to master.

But the choice of what to carry is not the point.

The point is to be politically active. We can prevent the silly legislation by writing, talk and contributing. My rep is pro RKBA, one senator, not so much. He knows one letter or phone call equals 300 votes. Get active, get your family and groups active, let it be known that they might have to get a real job in the next election.
There is a lot of work to be done. Get on it.

Being from the Commonwealth of MA, I am subject to the 10-round magazine limit so I will just continue to carry my M&P with the 10-round magazine. BUT I am thinking of a belated Christmas present for myself of a J-frame...

I started with a revolver in 64.

Me too! Mine was one of the NYPD's overrun NY-1 guns: bead blasted, DAO, just a great gun.

I've since switched to a 3" round butt revolver in 65, though, because I prefer the versatility of .357 magnum...

:D

Just funnin' with you bikerdoc....

I'm sorry, but it seems as though some of you guys are just a bunch of pansies. It hasn't happened yet, and you're already fussing about like a big bunch of ******s. Stand up and fight for your rights. Even if the worst happens, you're still gonna be grandfathered as far as what you own now. Why are so many of you so ready to roll over and give up?
I'm with Old Dog! :D

^^^Hah! NY-spec SP 101 close at hand right now...

We've had too many dead-serious threads around here of late, with no pics! Let the gravity of the situation detract from neither our humor or our enthusiasm:

Well, on my hip right now is a Taurus model 85. I think it would be at home here for as long as needed. That being said, I love carrying my M&P9, so I'd fight to support the right to do so. BUT, I am comfortabe carrying with lower capacity. I actually really loved my Kahr K40, which being all steel and carrying 7+1 rounds was not exactly going to set off alarms with the antis.
Of course, once they get a toehold they'll keep coming until even my little 5-shot snubbie is illegal, so let's keep fighting!!!!

No retreat!!! No surrender!!! Aroo Aroo Aroo!!!! (Sorry, just watched '300' and I'm all fired up!:uhoh:)

I will not be surprised to see at least a hi-cap mag ban come out of all the emotional calls for every manner of new gun control.

This ban, should it occur, will be set at 10 rounds and will do nothing toward stopping mass shooting. It also won't surprise me to see that capacity lowered after the next mass shooting.

My curiosity is how many folks would switch or go back to a reveolver should we ever see a greatly reduced magazine capacity ban.

Before you blow this off as silly, don't forget the Aussies who went the extra step and banned all semi-autos.

Stop talking like a loser and get out there and do something about it so we don't have to make this decision at all.

Write/call/email your elected representatives.
Donate your time and money to the NRA, Second Amendment Foundation, Gun Owners of America, and your state-level pro-gun organizations.

For crying out loud, at least get onto websites for your local newspaper and tv stations and make your voice heard in the public posts.
