Well, if you do 20" and under, i can compete with my 18" SPR. I didn't quite get it, but are you gonna use krochus's rules? If so, sounds good!
would folks participate in an ar tournament?

they will be very similar to krochus' rules.
barrel length wont be in the rules.

i think theres going to be 3 categories.
all will consist of a ten shot group fired at a normal paper plate.
if anyone wants to draw a circle or an x for an aiming point on the plate they can.
the categories will be:
50yds standing offhand, 10 rd group
50yds benched 10 rd group
100yds any position 10 rd group.
the 50yd group categories will be iron sighted or non magnified optics.
the 100yd group category will be no holds barred. any ar rifle, any scope, any position.
if the members would like, maybe a 50yd category with the same rules as the 100yd category i.e. any rifle, any scope, any position.
